Anyone have any shoe recommendations for babies? I'm about to get Chloe her first pair of shoes. I know I want something that fits well and has a thin sole!

Baby Shoes
- Message
With my boys I actually stuck to thick socks and woolen booties etc. until they were walking properly. Baby shoes can be quite expensive and the little ones grow so quickly(oops, the kids, not the shoes)! Also, the softer the "shoe" the easier it is to walk in. I guess it also depends on the weather though. The first shoes we did end up buying were fairly sturdy because it was wintertime.
My recommendation would be shoes from pediped.com. Though I haven't tried them yet myself, I plan on buying a pair soon. According to the advertisements they are supposed to be pretty soft and flexible to help bend with the foot when walking. Unfortunately their not the most inexpensive shoe (the highest price I've seen is $57 and the average is $32). But since I've tried the inexpensive shoes and they're not working all that great I figure you get what you pay for. My only complaint is they don't have any good winter typ shoes. What I really need is a pair of boots.
Well I got some at Target for about $8, and they seem to be just fine! They're a lot like socks, they just have a leather bottom (no sole) so they won't hurt their feet. I'll report back later on how they worked out!
